I am currently returning to teaching after my second pregnancy, so the offer is limited and slowly expanding. In September there are introduction classes available with special discounts and in October begins the first block of regular classes.
Generally, I warmly recommend people to attempt and build their own (ideally daily) practice of yoga, even if they start with 20 minutes a day twice a week. The teaching from introduction and weekly classes offer good foundation for this purpose.
introduction to shadow yoga
These classes introduce the beginner and experienced practitioner to the basics of Shadow Yoga. They are a blend of a series of physical preparation activities and basic information for understanding yoga practice (such as marma points, nadis, moon cycles). These establish and strengthen the basic circulation of energy and have a beneficial effect on the mind and body.
Try what you have learned at home from time to time and see what it brings you.
They are also suitable for pregnant women in the first 4-5 months of pregnancy.
introduction for complete beginners, older people and people with (other) physical challenges
These classes are for people who find (beginning a) yoga practice for whatever reason a challenge: it doesn't matter if it is because of a past injury, the physical challenges of old age, being overweight, heath issues or other reasons. If you are still not sure if this is for you, drop me a email and ask.
At the moment there are no introduction or regular classes of this format. If you are interested, you can contact me and I will let you know when a course becomes available or you can opt for an individual lesson.
yoga for women
The majority of yoga, widely practiced today has been developed by- and for men. Women have always been practicing, but more incognito and thier practice has differed at least in some aspects.
These sessions are meant to help women* understand how to adapt thier practice especialy during three important and specific periods of their lives: menstruation, pregnancy and menopause.
Each session will spend some time to better understand these different phases from a yogic point of view, what is good for the body during these periods and what is not supporting or weakening it. After there will be a physical introduction of supportive asanas and those that specifically alleviate discomfort in different phases. (The content of each class will depend on the constitution of the group or will be thematically announced.)
They will take place once every 1-2 months and can be attended individually. No yoga experience is necessary.
*These classes are for biological women. My knowledge of the processes is not sufficient to support people who have chosen hormonal (and surgical) sex reassignment.

Individual classes are for those with specific physical limitations or health problems. They are also available if for any reason you are unable to join one of the regular weekly appointments - please email.

practice guidelines
Most of the class spaces have yoga mats and props, but you can bring your own if you prefer so.
Wear comfortable clothes, we practice barefoot.
Ideally there should be 3-4hrs between the beginning of the class and the last large meal, a small 'snack' up to 2hrs before practice is ok.
Do not drink anything during the practice (not even water) as fluid affects the occurring physiological processes.
And last but not least - in Sundernath's words: Sometimes something brings you to a place of learning. Come with an open mind, even if you don't know exactly what you came for.
